You know! The minute you feel yourself depressed, you may feel without energy to do anything, no excitement, no initiative, nothing seeming to be charming. We may take stock of ourselves.What do you have? Your legs? Your arms? Your eyes? Would you sell them? Would you take even a million dollars for them? Well then certainly your brain. After all those times that you cursed it for forgetting something and called yourself a stupid you-know-what? Would you take a million for it? No, you never thought so.

Do you know? Scientists and doctors have studied thousands of people under hypnosis and have found that we have virtually perfect memories. People who have had electronic stimulation to parts of their brains have shown the same thing. When stimulated, people were literally “brought back” to days and moments in their lives and they remembered every thought, word, look, step, everything. Just as if they were in the moment again, even 30+ years later. It is surprising you. But to get more out of it and yourself on a daily basis, you have to be in the right state of mind. Hypnosis is simply a state of alert relaxation. In that state, photographic memory can occur.

Let’s commit to keeping a watchful eye on our status of mind, every moment. How else can we possibly do the things that we want to do today and in our tomorrows? If you say and think yourself to be reason of some grief, you won’t be able to perform any further.. You’re absolutely killing your chances of success and happiness, and that too, with a magnificent brain, like yours, that is a tragedy. It is correct to think about the reason for sometime to analyze to ensure that it should not happen again.

Now, you may take two statements out of history of your life:
1- What has occurred in your life which you can term as great and not-great?
2- For what are you grateful and to whom?

Even if you’re an extreme optimist, you just need to find it. You may do this. Tomorrow might provide you with some challenges that you don’t normally have and you need weapons, too. What could be good? After we come up with our list, look at each one and feel it. Is this a made-up list? A fake? Well, let me ask you what all those worrying thoughts you’ve had over the years and decades that didn’t amount to anything are?

Slowly, every thing will come forward. Some true and some false notions would be there. A deeper study will bring out the truth. The truth is what you believe it to be. And I contend that we should bend our beliefs towards what is USEFUL-not just the way something seems to be on the surface.

What is great? What could you be grateful for? Nothing. Keep this thought in mind, “And this too shall pass.” Life goes on. And there’s never a better time to practice leveling our moods than NOW. This is not a dress rehearsal. Today IS practice for tomorrow.
Now, you may please enlarge your list by adding a few more statements like:
Your physical health – how you feel and how you appear to be..
Your significant other – your soul mate, define the kind of association – Is it ideal, good or rough? How can you improve it? Have you arranged sufficient security – financial, emotional and/or social security what else your spouse needed?
Your best friend – your confidant, when and how did you come in contact? How is the association? Ideal, good or rough?How can you improve it? Have you ever gone with him/her on vacation, pleasure tours? Have you cooperated in the hour of his/her needs? Had she/he come forward when you were in need?
Your boss – If you have, you are lucky as many don’t even have a boss (or a job) to curse
Your co-workers/teammates – you can’t do it without them
Your children – Lucky if you have. How do you nurture them? What about their education? What about their aim of life? Did you and your spouse provide them conducive atmosphere for proper look-after? Do you play sports with them? Do you have your leisure time? How do they do shopping for themselves or you go with them to get their hobbies ?
Parents – make up with them. The most respected for you. If you don’t, ultimately, you’ll wish you did.
Parents of your spouse/Cousins/Nieces/Nephews/In-laws – how are your relation with them? Good, bad or worse? How can you improve them? If you are not able to do yourself, ask your spouse to advise you. As a socialite, you need to maintain gracefully.
Your country – and the freedoms it provides to you How do you perform your duties towards your country?
Your neighbors
Your favorite TV shows
Your pets
Your health – your health insurance plans, your physician, your medicines, your medical tests
The habit you just gave up; the weight you just lost
Your memorable journeys with your family/parents/friends – short trips, your meetings/dates with your spouse/ex-friends (before your marriage). How did you plan them? By Train, road, By Air, Did you charter the conveyance? Where did you stay? What did you enjoy?
Any other accomplishment/mistakes/blunders – no matter how small
Your car/house/clothes/furniture
Your education, degree
Your future prospects/next month/next year (imagining can help you feel good now)
Your new ‘do /weekly massage.
Your financial status – how was it yesterday, how is it today and what did you plan for future? Where are you now in terms of your future plan? If there is any shortcoming? How to meet? If that is right, can you make it better?
Your chance to learn something and what it will mean to you in the future
Your chance to rise above the problem and how that will make you feel
All the people at the end of the phone who are waiting to serve your needs

Still, you have a lot to be in a good mood about. Now don’t just read this and say, “Hey that’s neat. I feel pretty good.” You need to do it now… The magic is in the doing – a self exploration.
Do you want to feel good today, but not be quickly able to get back here? Nothing lasting will happen unless you get out the pencil, write it down and feel it.
And when you have a moment or a day when things aren’t going well, remember that your state of mind dictates what you’ll do next and the way you do it. When you need to, just pull out your sheet of paper with all the things you can feel good about, and before you know it, you will feel better. If you don’t have mood to write down again, go through your old sheets and refine it.
Maybe not great, but better is going in the right direction… Isn’t it? And when you feel good, you are more likely to do well.
This is the system which may help you empower yourself to meet your problems, to meet your challenges and make you again youthful.
